Auto Bild which is a German car magazine released more news for a possible BMW Z2 production. Speculations have been going on that there will be a more toned down version of the Z4 and this is good news for those car enthusiasts wanting a more subtle roadster.
Although nothing official has been given by BMW, this source revealed that production may be headed for a 2014 debut. It is said that the design concept is not patterned before the Z4 and will totally be a different beast. The Z4 was also said to be given a multitude goodies and this is to make way for the BMW Z2.
This roadster might be using turbo combinations of BMW’s 2.0 liter power plant. This can entail different variants like a 28i, 20i or a 16i and generated power output can range between 160 bhp to 268 bhp. This can possibly change since lower output levels can still be given BMW’s 1.6 liter turbo engine.
BMW already needs to confirm these thoughts going on in the auto industry. Sources have been constantly keeping our hopes up high and it might be a good marketing strategy if BMW will reveal what to expect from this car manufacturer’s garage doors.
