New York Auto Show received another piece of blissful machinery from Chrysler. This is the 2012 300C SRT8 which is a luxury sedan focused on prestige, elegance and astonishing power. This is more likely to compete in the high end sedans of BMW, Mercedes Benz or the Jaguar. One thing that this monster has is the infamous Hemi V8 engine and takes the Chrysler 300C SRT8 on a different level.
Chrysler actually chose not to release a 2011 of this variant and details of the new sedan’s madness are still limited but few important notes were given out.
The heart is a massive 6.4 liter Hemi V8 engine that is mated to a five speed automatic transmission. The combination roars to a staggering 465 bhp. The sprint time of this new model from 0-60 mph can be reached in a blistering in a high 4 second range while top speed is at 175 mph or equivalent to 282 km\h.
The stance of the 2012 300C SRT8 is lowered to 13 mm or 0.5 inch to the ground compared to the standard 300C. This stands on gorgeous 20 inch aluminum forged wheels. The cabin is highlighted with carbon fiber trims, a new blue lit panel instrument and a leather steering wheel.
